As you know, my dear friend Yasir Naqvi is running for Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party.    I am honoured to serve as one of his Leadership Campaign Co-Chairs.  It’s so much fun being actively involved with the Liberal family once again!

Not surprisingly, I have invited Yasir to visit us in Perth-Wellington as he continues to criss-cross Ontario.   So, I am delighted to personally invite you to attend a “Pizza Party at Pazzo for Yasir” that I am hosting.   It will be held 11:30 am – 1:30 pm on Monday, August 14^th, at Pazzo, 70 Ontario Street in Stratford.   Special thanks to Larry McCabe for opening up his restaurant on a Monday for us.

As a former MPP, Cabinet Minister and OLP Party President, Yasir is attracting thousands of members, both existing and new, to his Campaign.   How he and his family overcame political persecution in his home country so that one day he could become the Attorney General of Ontario is inspiring.    But it is what comes next that has me so excited.   He embodies the change that I believe our Party and our province needs right now.
